Wolfenstein The Old Blood is a prequel to the excellent The New Order. Set in 1946, The Old Blood follows the adventures of B.J. Blazkowicz as he infiltrates Castle Wolfenstein, searching for a nazi MacGuffin.
Simply put, if you enjoyed The New Order, then this game is more of that in a tightly crafted package. The game does not overstay its welcome, and the plot, such as it is, unfolds very quickly.
The game took about 7 hours to finish, and I felt like I had enough by the time I was done with it.
I think I paid about $2 out of pocket for this game, so I got my money’s worth. I would recommend paying about $5 for this because you can finish it in about one evening.
Also, the game is locked at 60 FPS. Something to keep in mind.
Verdict - Solid game for the price I paid.
